Great Week

This week is great for me...besides feeling awesome at 35, i celebrate my birthday with full of joy around the people i love. Wow, i cannot believed how time passed by very quickly but when i look back everything around me, nothing that i could ask for more besides thanking God for things he plans for me. Thank you friends and family, for the wishes u send me....and for my new follower on my blog...is such a honor to have somebody read and follow my blog. Thank you. Stay tune till my next post as i'm giving a giveaway for my loyal followers. The photos will be up in the next blog post.

Back to my scrapping table, i finally finished the latest OUAS challenge. This week criteria fits me really well as i've wanting to scrap this particular picture of my daughter. Here is the criteria...and if you think you are up to it, please do join me there.

Our JOURNALLING CRITERIA this time is to journal about a female. It can be ANYONE...your self, your best friend, your daughter,grandma, mum, sister, cat. ...As long as you write at least 2 sentences about the female in the photo (you can always create a CARD or ALTERED item based on this sketch and use a quote instead) . Your jounralling can be any type, i.e. typed, printed etc.

So here is my take..

I'm so excited to see my last layout was featured there too. Thanks to the team, precious moments to be given such opportunity. It was my daughter layout using bright colors from Echo Park.

Scrap for Help

I found this site when i was reading Nadia's blog and i was touched with her post. I didn't wait long to check on this site. I find it truly amazing that there is people who will put so much effort getting something like Scrap For Help, where they have aims to be able to help people thru Scrapbooking. With the supports from UN Brazil and United Nations, i'm pretty sure all words will go around really quickly especially with efforts like this. From bottom of my heart, bravo ladies...for the all this effort. Besides helping people, this site is running monthly challenges. They do have DTs and i'm sure you will find somebody familiar there. Check out their first challenge...

For the first challenge of Scrap For Help inspire us think of Valentine's Day that is celebrated here in Brazil on 1 June.

Its a relieved

I can now stretch my leg and relax. I finally finish all my big custom orders and i'm so happy that i delivered them on time. Its great to be back at my scrapping table...scrapping for myself! It was so chaotic at my scrap table for the past few weeks and my kids been complaining that i'm just so busy. Poor them...i'm all theirs for this weekend! My eldest son, Qawiem was so happy and the moment he saw me when i pick him up from school...." So u finished all your scrapwork? Can we play now?" Poor him....yes yes...we can now play!

Ohh...i did my pop class with the guy that i mentioned in my previous post....the class lasted for 5 hours! Oh well, i'm kinda impressed with him...he did well for a first timer! He finished everything and off he goes to his girlfriend to present his hard work! How romantic!

My re branding of my handmade shop - Glitz Creations is almost done. The new logo is ready and i'm very happy with my designer. She did an amazing job and we are now looking into extracting some graphics from Glitz blog design to be the cover for my handmade journal. The graphics will soon be my journal trademark! I'm excited! Here is the new logo....please do leave comments and i really want to know how you feel about it.

Again...i'm very grateful that i was given an opportunity by Jaime to play with Calico Kits again. I had so much fun and seriously i'm in love with Calico now! Be it layout or canvas....papers are just versatile and easy to work with. Here is my creations..

Btw, June kits is now available @ 3 Scrappy Boys. Do check them out. I will update in the next post on my new projects using their main kit. The kits is to die for...everything looks yummy it it. Here is peeks...

Still Crazy But...

Things a still crazy back here but i decided to sit back and enjoy scrapping for myself. I missed the previous TCR challenge and i couldn't help myself for not participating # 60. I've been eyeing on my latest Webster Page which has been sitting on my scrap table for the past 2 weeks. ...ohh i'm having a crush on Webster Page and i'm still there. LOL! I was at a quilt shop last few days and i found Fabric Paper which you can print photos on them. Usually they use it for quilt or bags....and i thought it will be great for my project. So this time, i'm experimenting using Fabric Papers and here is the outcome. If you look closely...one picture i print on the pattern paper and the other one i print them on Fabric Paper. I thought this is cool. Hope u like them too.

Super Pops Album

I had this opportunity to meet a customer, happen to be a guy at Papier...and he wanted to do a little special for his girlfriend's birthday. He showed me a you tube video of a few pop ups cards combined to be a book. And he is looking for someone to teach him how to do it. Frankly it was really a challenge for me. Creating something like this...trying to figure out the mechanism of the album. Well....i'm kinda happy it turns out like this...but seriously i spend too much hours on it. But hey...i'm happy to tell that guy now...lets meet! I'm ready to teach you! For those who are interested, you can email me or Papier so that we can organise the class for you too!

Overwhelmed

I know there is no one else to be blame but me...i think i over committed on custom orders and i have yet to stop creating for the past 2 weeks. I'm stuck like a glue to my scrapping table almost everyday for almost 10 hours per day.Thats crazy right??? I know is good for the business but on the other hand, i'm exhausted. Is hard for me to turn down my customers. I should really learn how to say no sometimes. I think the exhaustion part i could leave with it, but i'm more stressed for not being able to scrap for myself! Haha...LOL!!!

So i did it tonight....i put away all the orders and i just have to play with my new stash that just came in. Yippeee....thanks to 3 Scrappy Boys...your shipment came seriously fast! As i was going thru my scrapping to do list...i know that i've yet to submit the OUAS latest challenge! Nadia, is hard not to participate...your challenge is always so fun! So here it is....using Echo Park Summer Days...presenting my DAUGHTER...hehehe...

Webster Page

You know sometimes i wonder myself what kind of scrapper i am. I noticed some scrapper always have the same style which is their own trademark. I envy this people because i cannot seems to find one for myself! LOL. Being fickle doesn't help it at all. I love everything...i don't really have special brand or scrapping style that i like. I just love anything that captures my eyes. Like now, for the past 1 week i've been eyeing on Webster Page. Everything looks yummy especially the new CHA stuff.

As for scrapping style, i don't really have one. I'm the type of person who likes to try everything. I get bored scrapping same style every time. Is that good or bad? Haha... Anyway, here i am sharing with you my take on TCR #58 Challenge.

I also did a page as birthday gift for a friend of mine...she's actually my breakfast partner.Still using Webster Page! I'm not sure how long this craving gonna last but i'm enjoying it. Love WP.

Studio Calico

I was very honored to be given an opportunity to feel and create projects using Studio Calico May Add On Kit. Specials thanks to Jaime Lee....you have been such a dear and sweet friend and i'm very grateful to meet you! I was a bit worried at first when i lay my hands on Studio Calico stuff. I guessed the papers are new to me and i wasn't very sure what to do with it. As i play along with it, altered it...well is not that difficult. Frankly it is quite versatile and is all depends on how you use it. My creations this time is not a layouts...i thought to give it a try to do an altered project. I made this cube from a very thick chipboard which i join them together using glossy accents. When the cube is strong, then i start decorating it. So here it is...

Hello fellow scrapper...

How are you? I hope everything is great on your end. Did you get to scrap? err...i did! It was definite a great feeling for sure. I have yet to come to an exhaustion...i hope not! Hehe... Almost every night i'm in my craft room. Poor hubby, always left alone downstairs. Not that he minds but i know i should make a point to spend more time with him. What about you? Does your hubby mind if you spend your nights scrapping? Well i hope not!

Ohh i was little excited....err...maybe too excited that my name was announced as one of the winner of NSD Echo Park Challenge last week. My latest mini album - "Bit and Pieces of You" that got me that spot! Thanks Echo...it was great to see my name in your FB Page!. Can't wait to receive my goodies.

During my recent meetup with my scrapping buddy... Jaime Lee, i was given an opportunity to play some of her stuff in her shop. For those who doesn't know her...Jaime is the owner of online scrapbook shop called...Scrappin Studio. I started my playtime with the line from Pink Paislee called Old School. Back in my craft room, i had bunch of die cuts envelope which is about 6.5" x 6.5". I had that custom cut for me and i all almost all the colors. So i thought it would be nice to make use of the envelopes. So here it is....my Old School Album. Thanks Jaime!

Do check out Scrapping Studio, as Jaime is offering 50% on this line. I hope my project will inspire you to try this line.

Couldn't Get Enough

I'm talking about Echo Park Papers. Hahaha...i'm always in love with their collections.Colorful and fun bright colors does make scrapping easier for me...i find it easy to match all their pattern papers. Every time i buy Echo Park Papers, i will always ended up with 2 set of each pattern paper. I'm always very fickle when it comes to Echo Park papers....everything looks nice.

I'm not sure how you ladies celebrate NSD...but i was lucky to be stuck in my scrapping room for the whole day and 1 created 3 projects!

Project 1........Bit and Pieces Of U...Mini Album

Notes how do i create them:

This album is made of Maya Road Canvas Album.
The background on the canvas was done by using alcohol ink which i blend with water and i dab it to the canvas.
Once it is dry i spray the canvas using Tattered Angel Misting Spray
This album was decorated using Springtime, Playground And Little Girl Collection.
Most papers that i used i adhered with Mod Podge

Project 2...Layout ... My Little Boys

Did you see how much fun i had creating this layout? I was actually doing at least 3 layers of papers. I basically adhered the first layer and then i plan my 2nd layer. I used quite a bit of 3D foam tape which i choose the thickest ones.

Project 3 ..... Layout...You and Me

I used the papers from Be Mine Collection. The papers are really romantic and lovely for picture like this! Hehe...It has the shabby chic colors and i just love all the papers inside and it does created a really nice palette. The beautiful elements such as swirls, hot air balloon, keys , bird cages....does make a scrapbooker like me to make full use of the papers. Totally in love with this goodness.

NSD @ 3 Scrappy Boys

How did you spend your NSD today? I've been scrapping as early at 9am and still going strong! LOL. I'm actually working on mini album ...its been a while since my last one but i have to admit mini album really takes time. Well just an update... check out 3 Scrappy Boys Forum as we have so many excitements just for NSD. There is games, challenges and lots of prizes lying around. I have prepared one challenge specially for today and i'm throwing some RAK too. But before you can join the challenge, you must register yourself in the forum. The forum can be accessed at 3 Scrappy Boys Forum. Ok rules for my challenge...

Create a layout and you MUST incorporate PAINT element. It doesn't matter how you do it, as long i can see the paint....you will stand a chance to win the RAK. Upload your LO is the forum gallery and put up a title PAINT - followed by your title. Easy right???

Headache

Spending too much hours scrapping cause you headache? Gosh, i spend 3 consecutive days trying to figure out how to create an album which is not the ordinary. As an instructor, i get them a lot when my students will come back and telling me that they want extra ordinary album, layout or projects. But to me, i believed that creativity is very subjective. Everyone has their own style which hard to describe by words. I respect them in every way and always been my inspiration.

I'm not ready to show the full pics yet but this is my truly extra mini popup album/ frame display which took me 3 days to finally settled with the look! Lots of popup elements that i incorporated in. Not easy but the outcome is very rewarding.

Since i spend so much time on that popup frame, i was really rushing when i complete the new challenge at Once Upon A Sketch,it wasn't due till the 14th but i was having the urge to do it by today. I'm not that happy with the outcome , i'll do better next time. Here is my take.

Holiday and "Socialites"

We all need holidays, short or long, sea or mountain, relaxation... we have many reasons to take holidays! I just came back from a short trip to Phuket, Thailand. It was a good short break for my family especially the kids. We stayed at Club Med and i'm amazed with the GOs...the long hours they spend with the guest , entertain people like us...override all the "not so good" thing about Club Med. Thank You so much for that.

I'm happy to come back to scrapping table with this news....i'm the new TCR Socialites Girl! I love the word "Socialites"! That means lets get social with fellow scrapbookers around the world! This is really exciting and i'm definitely having lots of fun here. Btw, the new palette is out...and again...the colors are just sooooo lovely. Have a look at my take.

Back at 3 Scrappy Boys...we are definitely planning some fun for upcoming National Scrapbooking Day. Here is some peak on my challenge.

I'm so excited...if you can see me dancing over here...you must be laughing at me. LOL. I just got a call from tv producer that they have asked me to come on a show called Wanita Hari Ini (Local Malay Women Show) to talk about my scrapbook ideas. My slot is scheduled to be on air tomorrow at noon. I'm still trying to figure out what to say , but wish me luck!!!

I had sometime this morning to play with Echo Park Spring Time Collection and i decided to play along on Once Upon A Sketch. Their next challenge is really challenging your journalling skills. Nadia , seriously your blog is getting awesome. I love it to the max!

Here is the challenge if you wanna play along too...

Your journalling criteria for this challenge is to write the reason you chose to scrap this photo
(e.g. to remember this moment, to remember someone, to send a message to someone, because this photo makes you smile, the photo shows a personal achievement, your child's milestone etc. etc. )

Tutorial 1 - Mixed Media & TCR #54

I thought this time i wanted to share some things i do when i created my mixed media layout or canvas. My canvas is based on The Color Room Palette 54.

I'm still into printing picture over pattern paper but this time i mod podge to the canvas before i spray all over with Tattered Angels Mist.
The background of this piece is purely created using Tattered Angels Mist....Dazzling Diamond, Chalkboard Apricot and Passion Red. I spray randomly, all over and i keep adding Dazzling Diamond to lighter the color
Thanks to Christy Tomlinson - her ideas of using Roller Stamp has got me hooked up...is great for you to create background. This time i used Rollagraph Stamp - Typewriter and Wordwords. What you need to do is just roll and roll until u get the desired result.
I also found this Super Cool Faber Castell Gelatos - it looks like a lipstick and the texture are great for inking the edges. I got this thru Christy too. Thanks for the tips!

Sketch 233 @ Pencil Lines

I always love to be here at Pencil Lines but sometimes time does not permit for me to do that. But today i decided to make some time and try their new sketch. This time, i tried printing photo on pattern paper. I used the printed writing so that my picture will have some texture. Kinda like how it looks like....something worth trying if you like the effect. I used my Epson Photo Printer Model 1390. This is my favourite printer of all coz it is able to print up to 13" x 13". Great right?

Once Upon A .... Sketch

I found this cool sketch site and i think is quite interesting to join....Once Upon A...Sketch.

The founder.... which i think quite number of us know her...Nadia Cannizzo has started this sketch site that somehow reminds me again how much important to do your journalling. We tend to omit the most important elements in our layouts...the journalling part. We are much more interested in pretty embellishment! Do you agree with me? I know some of us doesn't want to journal because their handwriting is not that nice, and they feel that it will ruined the beauty of the layouts. Heck it ladies....it is your layout....your creations. We scrap our photos so that we can show it to our next generations..but if we omit this important elements...unless we have super duper memories...are we able to remember the details let say 10 years from now?

So i took my first step , taking part in their sketch challenge..

Create a layout, card or any other project you can adapt this sketch to. If you are creating a card , off the page or altered project, the journalling criteria does not apply to you.
You can use the sketch and a quote instead.

My Core’dinations Creative Frenzy

Hi and i'm back again sharing with you my latest layout using Core'dinations cardstock. I fall in love with one of their embossed collection called Cosmo Cricket Core Impression - Neutrals Collection. I know some of us like me, find it hard to start scrapping on a cardstock. We generally prefers pattern paper to begin with. But well, is not that hard as i think it is. This is what people called scrapping on "White Space". Is actually fun where you have the flexibility creating your own background. The "Space" is yours and you just explore them by using any mediums in your stash. For my layouts, i decided to play with this 3 main things, 1) Acrylic Paint 2) Glimmer Mist 3) Crayons. I think the outcome is just awesome. The embossed texture in this cardstock helps my layouts into different dimension and i think you should give a try.

Some of cool things that i do with the cardstock...

1) Crayons - i melted it all around the cardstock using heat gun

2) Acrylic Paint - i used the liquid form paint and i splatter and blow it with a straw. Try different kind of straw sizes as it gives a different effect.

3) Glimmer Mist - Try using contrast color to your cardstock. It will definitely boost the color of your layout.

So don't be afraid to use cardstock as your base. I can guarantee you will like the effect.

Productive Week

I've been stimulating my brain for the past couple of weeks thinking how to create more appealing concept for every of my customer order. But sometimes is kinda hard to expand more simply because my customer will always their own idea which is incredibly creative.....more creative than me!!! LOL. But a combination of both ideas..(mine and them) , i'm able to create something that always create a smile in their face. That is just overwhelming for me. Here i am sharing some of my spill over creative juices...hope u like them too.

Canvas Basic @ Papier, The Curve

Its time to free your creativity for my upcoming class...Canvas Basic. This is where i will show you in and out on how i create my background using some of mixed media stuff . I will share with you some of tricks and tips on how we can manipulate our existing paper stash.

We will be working with Claudine Hellmuth Product Line such as gesso and matte medium. We will also be using Tattered Angels Mist Spray where i will share with you on how do you create background using the mist.

Note: For those who already have some background using mixed media such as the medium, i DO NOT encourage for you to attend my class. This class is better fit for those who have no knowledge of the medium and how to use them.

This class will run for about 2 - 2.5 hours.

Materials provided for class: canvas on frame, mediums, all papers & other supplies/tools.

Bring your own: precision scissors, liquid glue, foam dots/3D dots

Warning: bring lots of wet tissues and be prepared for some dirty fingers

It aint easy...

Yes its true...this is my 2nd attempt producing ATCs. I'm so used to bigger surface and i find it difficult to work on the smaller ones...to me this is really small! LOL.

It was an idea of Yuz to do this exchange but thanks to you babe...i discover lots of interesting discovery while producing this. I played with lots of acrylic inks..which is my top favourite stuff at this moments. I just love how liquid it was and you can just move it around by just using water. I took out my melting pot which has been in my archive for the past 1 year! LOL. It great to mixed all this stuff and the outcome is just great!

I hope you like what i did Yuz. Can't wait to see yours. Hehe..

Hi hi...its been a long creative weeks and i was a bit overwhelmed down here. I have a few back to back custom orders which i need to attend first. Not much help lately...my mom and hubby is away on a trip and kids are taking a little toooooo much of my time. But thank god that things are all planned out and i'm back here at my blog.

I wanted to share some photos from the Graphic Goes Green Event which took place on 19 March 2011. Met a lot of fun interesting people that opens up my eyes especially when when we are talking about craft. Gosh...so much handmade stuff out there. I love it. People are getting more and more creative, it just amazed me looking at the things they do.

Spring Market @ Papier. The Curve

I was honored and excited to be given a chance to participate in upcoming Papier Spring Market that is happening this Saturday, 26 March 2011 starting from 2pm. Thanks Macy for this opportunity!. There will be lots of fun (i'm sure) as I and the other DTs will be making some fun "Make n Take" especially for this event.

Here is some rules about the event..

We will be using the tags that are pre-cut using the latest Tim Holtz tag die but the rest of the assembling is in your little d-i-y kit.

Each marketeer will be given one kit complete with all the materials required for the make-n-takes
Proceed to the various craft stations (5) preferably limit to a maximum of 5 pax per station and it should take you about 15 mins to complete each project.
Once you have completed one project, proceed to the next station and as a courtesy to other crafters as well as the instructor, please wait for the next session to begin to join in (new session every 30 mins)
There will be 5 projects in total so you should have plenty of time to complete all the projects within the 3-hours Market Time

Supplies to bring: Wet & dry glue, scissors (precision scissors where possible)

Important Term & Conditions:

Due to materials availability, some materials given will vary slightly however all the kits will consist of the same number of items & materials. Materials may vary slightly to the actual samples shown but all techniques used will be the same.
Due to time limitation & the nature of the crop, we are unable to replace any kits/materials should you be dissatisfied with the end result. After all, the idea of the crop is to share & learn the various tips & techniques and we hope that you will have fun meeting other crafters alike.
One kit per paid participant only.
No refunds or exchanges of any form for paid participation but non-attendance. In the event of non-attendance, you will be given the kit to take home and you can refer to samples and we regret that there will not be a replacement session.

Graphic Goes Green 2011

This is why i'm so quite for the past few weeks...hahaha. I'm feeling as if i'm floating in my scrap room. I've been creating and creating for the past 2 weeks for an upcoming event - "Graphic Goes Green 2011.

“Graphic Goes Green” is the first ever eco-design campaign co-organised by CUTOUT Magazine and The Weld Shopping Centre. This is where Artistic minds will address their concern about environmental issues by using creative expressions in various art forms such as artwork displays, art installations and workshops.

I'm so excited and grateful to be given a chance to be part of this showcasing some of my recycle work using scrapbook product! I'm exhausted but excited and i really can't wait for this Saturday, 19 March 2011.

I would like to share one of my few recycle project - my very own version of Idea-ology dimension shadow boxes made of used box. If any of you are interested to know how do i create this box, please feel free to drop by my booth on this Saturday. Maybe we can have a chat on more ideas how we can recycle more using our scrapbook products and contribute more to the World.

Crazy Good

So much things on my plate at this moment...and so much i want to do and time is just not enough! I have some upcoming events and classes to plan. Few orders in line ...is pretty crazy over here but is "crazy good" (Steven Tyler's quote in Idol 10) Lol! Yeah..idol season is back and i have some favourite already and i'm happy they are in the final 13! Woohoo...go Stefano and Thia.

Almost every nite i've been hacking "She's The Art Workshop" by Christy Tomlinson. Lol !! Her classes is full of cool ideas on how to use mix media stuff and i 'm telling you i have no regrets joining this class. I love how she used all my favourite stuff like inks, stamps, gesso, mod podge, creating layers after layers, making my own background...so messy but fun fun fun. Haha...

I have created my first canvas based on what she thought us...and i love how it turns out to be. Check out my first girl....i think she's cute! Thanks Christy! I love it!

New Addiction

LOL...this is really funny. I somehow found another addiction to the extend that i'm ditching scrapbook for almost a week. I was so into "Bookbinding" after attending 2 day course. I found myself constantly sewing books! Hahaha....I have no regrets attending this course. It was a complete fun workshop with bunch of great people. I wanna share with you some of my newly born books!

I was kinda late this time for the submission of Palette 46 in Color Room. I thot i would miss it but hey i did it. Actually i was kinda excited to use my new kid's photos. I took them last week and it was really precious because i'm having so much problems to get the three of them together for a single photoshoot. I hope you like my take...

Most years seem to come and go. Occasionally, one comes along that jars and tears at you deep inside.This was one of those years when things happen beyond your control. My husband's father died about a week ago. Like many couples, my in laws were married for 47 years. That is really a long period of time. I've only been married for 7 years and i cannot imagine to live without someone you love. I hope my husband's family will continue to stay strong on this tough times.

Stay is probably the best word to describe my friendship with Tracey. As far as i can remember, we've been friends for so many years. We might not meet that often nowadays but yet we still "Stay" around whenever we need each other. I had a chance to meet her few weeks back, it was such a lovely time to see each other again.

Hmm....it is Luke Perry during the first premiere of Beverly Hills 90210. I just think he such a cute man and i was very young then. I'm always imagining him as my boyfriend! LOL

Review: Fine & Dandy True Blue

I thought this year i want to make a change to my blog. Rather than talking all about me, i wanted to share my personal views on scrapbook products that i like. I'm writing here based on my personal experience using the products. I might ended up falling in love with the products or i might not like it. Sometimes is hard to say because when i buy them, i thought this will do good to this project but when you are actually working with it, not all the time you will get your desired result. Some of it can be difficult to use, either papers, rub ons, stickers, etc.

I'm starting my first review with My Mind Eye Collection called True Blue. This collections are meant for boys as they also have for the girl called Tickled Pink. But i was drawn to the latest Color Room Palette, so i decided to use it for my girl's picture. This collection has lovely combo....yellow, blue, orange, brown and white. They have 12 double sided papers, chipboard, stickers and layered stickers, trims, brads and buttons. This type of combo are easily used, it doesn't take me long to think on how to match the papers. The cut out from the chipboard are really lovely. It provides a happy elements to my layouts. If you are looking for fun colors, this collection definitely a good ones...with the banners, cute owls and lovely accessories...you can never say NO!

That is how long i have known my husband. We dated for 5 years and our wonderful marriage just turn 7 last week. He is definitely a great guy and i have no doubt i married the right guy. We are just like any other couple ....we do have arguments but i guess we are very committed to our kids and that bring extraordinary love. I hope this stays forever.

I was looking at Pencilines latest sketches, why not i scrap our photos. By the way, Mr Postman just drop by to give me the "Be Mine" collection from Echo Park. As i was very inspired by Iris Babao U y, her white space usage is such an amazing work, i couldn't stop myself from trying.

"Be Mine" collection is very lovely papers with the combo colors of grey, pink, black and white. Frankly i never actually play with this colors. I decided to mist the layout before decorating them. This is very Iris. I wish this kit comes with 2 pieces of every design, because typical me i usually like front and back. When i got the kit, it has only 1 of each design. Is definitely hard to choose which side i want coz i like them all!!! LOL

A Layout and & Cleaning in Progress

I cannot believe how much junk i have in my scrap room. Going thru each and every one is just taking too much time. I've just sorted all the pattern papers and i can tell you it took me like 2 days to just clear that part. I have so much papers and i'm still eyeing for more. Hahaha. One thing that i'm very happy that i also sorted out my ribbon rolls. I found this mini cubicle and it fits all the rolls. Here is how it looks like. I still have long way to go before i could have nice, clean, neat scrap room. Can't wait for that!

I decided to participate in the Color Room latest palette challenge...which is the #42. I've always admire people who follows the palette closely and i really want to try them one day. So here i am, my take for the challenge.

I've always been a fan of Ronda Palazzari....her splattering of paint are just awesome. I can't help but to try her techniques but i twisted it a bit by using crayon. It definitely dries faster than paint. Hope you like it too.

I cannot believed that it has been 3 months since i last blogged. It get a little dusty over here!! Haha... I have finally settled down with a good domestic helper and thats a big relieved for me. But it took me a difficult journey to get the kids comfortable with her and i was so drained out late last year. But good thing everything is almost alright and i can be back here.

But that doesn't stop me from creating and window shopping as far as scrapping is concern. Hahaha...once a scrapper is always a scrapper right?? I seen so many fabulous work around the country and lots of new stuff especially this coming 2011 CHA winter. Very yummylicious i must say.

I started this new with this resolution in particular .....organising my scrap room. It used to look like a "jungle" (my husband's favourites quote!). But there is so much to do. I started doing a few stuff...like organising my embellishment, stamps and ribbons. It took me about 5 days already and i'm still half way thru. I found clear casing from a bakery shop and it really does wonders to keep things organised. It comes in different sizes such as 4" x 4" , 5" x 5", 9" x 4"...etc. Prices? Seriously cheap...cost me just RM1.50 the most!

What's In My Bag

I know that i have decided to step down from all my DTship but deep down in me i know that i have not given up on scrapbook. Its just hard to find some little quality time but i must not forget "The Person" who still believe in me and value my small contribution. Thanks Mich! When she emailed out the challenge for Scrap it Lah October Challenge...i was clueless on how should i start doing it. I was still mojoless...being away too much from scrapping table doesn't seems to help at all.

I was also stressed out at home handling domestic helper issues which never ends. I know that i'm not alone in this department but i hope one fine day i could fine a nice decent one who really wants to work with no hassle. Or maybe i shouldn't hope. Arrgghhhhh...sigh sigh sigh.

It took me 3 nights to finish this Scrap It Lah Challenge. This is the longest period that i took to complete just 1 page. But i'm happy, once i'm done with it, i can just go on and on and i finish another one! Yeay! and another Yeay because i managed to scrap Tihany's First Birthday picture.

Ohh..Tihany is already 1 year old and she has started walking now. Her steps are still wobbly, it will take sometimes before her legs get strong but she is certainly thriving each moments. Very very talkative...she's able to call me..."Ama" means Mama, "Yah" means Dad, "Abe" means "Brother" and "Ba" means "Bird"......hahahha...so cute.

I used to hop around blogs looking at how amazing people create their layouts but i have stop hopping since my mojo went away. But i managed to peek at some of them last week ...and oh wow...i was totally overwhelmed looking how creative they can think when constructing their layouts. I would like to share it with you and let me know if you share same opinion with me.

This is top of my list...created by Leena Loh - http://findingnana.com. I must say she played well with all the white space. With a splatter of paint...it looks so interesting that i could not take my eyes away.

My 2nd favourite list came from Michelle - http://chowchowscraps.blogspot.com. Michelle has used some of her old papers..maybe the collection was 3-4 years back.This is why we should not forget old stash. You never know ideas might just come and old can become something new and fresh.

Last one is from Emeline....Look at how creative Emeline - http://scrapvilla.blogspot.com ...did with this LO. Blending plain printed papers and some colors make it look so beautiful.

Lastly from me! haha...i love it because it is my daughther's pic. Love her petite looks when she was 6 months.

Since my last post i thought i am going to be diligently updating my blog but that was just a say... fasting month is kinda tough to do lots of things. First 2 weeks i was busy with the prayers and last week was the whole baking cookies marathon. But it was nice to finally get to scrap and clean the mess that i have here in my scrap room. I look at my stash...oh wow...i should find some time to scrap more often. I must say i have so much stuff here and sometimes i forget what i have. Maybe i should start making stash catalogue! hahaha...

I have this collection from Fancy Pants which i adore to the max. I love the colors, designs, basically everything there. It is the Father & Son Collection. I'm all excited when i started playing with the papers and it was nice of Mr Mojo to drop by even just for a day. I made 2 layouts of my boys....the big and the small ones...hehe. And i kinda like how it turns out to be.

Well , i will come back again soon, is a promised k! ....and now i'm off for a final rounds of baking before Raya. Wishing all of you a safe journey where ever you are going and have a fun holidays!

Long long due

My god...its been so long since my last post. I'm dusting away all the spiderwebs around my blog. hahaha...i'm not sure what happen. I just lost my mojo, my strength to scrap. I just spend my nites watching tv, movies and sleep. It was really a good break. I think i was tired. I found another new hobby that really occupied my energy and mind....i've become a exercise freak! I guess that is why i find myself in hibernate mode by 10pm. But deep in my heart, i've yet to forget my love for scrapbook. Finally after so so much effort, i've made 2 layouts today. It felts so good! hahaha....

I love this one....this pic was taken 2 weeks ago in Cameron Highlands. This is the picture that was take at the right time with the right look! I love how i look into Tihany. Thanks to my hubby for the shots!

This pics was another adorable one....i love how Tihany was so happy to be in the pool for the first time.
I'm not sure when i will be back...but i hope it will be pretty soon. Lots of pics to scrap! Till again...

I can't believed it how time flies so fast...Scrap It Lah is a year old now! Its amazing how my friend...Michelle first started it and the response has been tremendously well. Congrats to you dear! To celebrate this event, Scrap It Lah is hosting a blog hop and lots of yummylicious RAKs to be given away. In order to lay your hands on those stuff, you need to play along with challenges. I have decided...

to take a break....am not applying or accepting anymore DT position. Its been tough lately to find a little time to scrap. Kids are demanding more time from me and by end of the day i get so exhausted and all i can think about is rest rest rest. All this while i have been sacrificing my sleeping time. When the kids goes to bed usually by 10pm and this is where i start my scrap work and i will scrap till really late.

Because i was sooo into scrapbooking, i usually wakes up being tired. Being a single mom when my husband is away working is really a challenge. I reached a point that i have to decide what matters most.... i am getting sick more frequently and is really not good in the long run. I just want to relax and scrap my family photos with no deadlines.

When i think about it..i have been doing this for the past 2.5 years. Its time to really slowdown. Most of DTs work will end by June. Don't get me wrong...i will not stop scrapping but i just want to scrap freely with no timeline. I just want to have fun...

Its been 2 weeks since my last post. I was really tired, can't even get myself to scrap but i am so happy my mojo came back yesterday. I was dying to play with Nikki's New Collection Bella Blue and Oscar Too. I came out with this idea and i hope u like it.

I'm still scrapping like crazy and i seriously don't know why. I've actually develop a strong relationship with my scrapbook and i'm totally crazy over this! And today i feel really really tired but i'm still overwhelmed when i look at my new DT kit from Nikki. Check out at the end of this post...my creations of her lovely papers.

Last week i spend 2 days creating 20 pages of 8"x 10" for a commisioned work. Phew! That was crazy. But maybe not as crazy as taking my kids out to Aquaria on Chinese New Year Day cum Valentine's Day! The queue was sooooo long and my kids got exhausted even before we went in. I make wrong judgement on the date again! Sorrie kids!!!!

Getting More Productive

I've been more and more productive this week...it is much easier when i have the mojo. I can just go on and on creating LO after LO. I think my track record was 10 pages per day. That is like from morning till like midnight - scrapping non stop! Haha...

Long weekend is approaching ... the Chinese are celebrating the Chinese New Year. What year is this? Ohh...is the Year of the Tiger. This is what the internet has to say about this year...

The coming 2010 year of the metal Tiger is around the corner. It looks like we've got mood swinging, vigorous and hard-working year ahead. As you might guess, coming 2010 year of the metal Tiger is passionate, honest and modest. Sun sign horoscope for the 2010 year of the Tiger like his animal sing is naturally forgiving, rarely holding grudges for long, it symbolizes eternal family values, rate highly friends support and care.

I discover this frame by trial and error from my frame supplier. We were actually trying to find best ways to frame all my layouts. This is one of the sample that the shop did. I wonder how do you frame your layouts? I just find putting them into the 12 x 12 album is quite boring. We all put our layouts there. I feel framing will best displays layouts and when u hang it definitely looks more interesting. Back to this project...it took me just 1 hour to do it. Most of the products are Fancy Pants.....from paper, rub ons, transparency. Have a look...

Mary Jane Kiss

Following to the successful blog hop @ ScrapbookChallenges in January, i'm very happy and honoured to be chosen as February Guest Designer. I was given an interesting sketch to work on and i decided to chose this wonderful picture of me and Zharif. Zharif is totally into Spiderman and all he can think about is his Spiderman...be it his miniature toys or Spiderman CD or Spiderman model...if anyone goes missing...everybody in the house will go mad looking for it. He will cry and scream until he gets his Spiderman. At least once a day i have to let him watch the Spiderman CD ....from the 1st till the 3rd one. He can memorize all the script and action in all 3 sequels. The one that gave me a shock is the Mary Jane kiss. My hubby manage to shoot this pic of him kissing his Mary Jane ...which is his Mummy! Hahaha...cute.

Here is the sketch given to me to work on and also my take.

In this layout, i use quite a bit of new stamps collection from Momoyo Scraps. They will soon be available at their shop. I love them all especially the Butterfly and the Love quotes.

Back at Scrap It Lah this month, Michelle has come with interesting combo challenge. We are required to combine Oriental and Valentine elements into 1 layout. See told ya...this is interesting...i am sure very little of us has done it before including me. It took me a while before i come out with the idea. Here is mine....

I'm so happy that i finished 2 layouts yesterday and 1 tonight. No no, i'm not on scrapping marathon , its just i have some extra mojos and i have one guest designer assignment . There was a time in my life when girl friends came first…before boys, before family, before me. i would do anything for my friends. In my eyes, they were my world and therefore i was a damn good friend. I was the friend who would fight if it meant having my friend’s back.

I was that friend…until those same “friends” broke my heart.

Girls can be deceiving, malicious, bitchy, jealous and if you’re like me then you’ve already learned the hard way. we can complain about it and wonder why we don’t have more girl friends but the fact is there will always be girls like that, no matter how old we get. so do we continue to bitch about it or learn from it?

Now...i want to be selective..i wanna let very few people in. i wanna trust little coz i cannot handle bullshit. if the friendship is one sided, i’m out! super needy friends make me vomit. crazies don’t have a place in my life. i hate liars and yes i judge.

sounds harsh, i know, but being this way protects my heart and allows me to eliminate those that fake the funk while holding on to the ones that matter. in the end, it's all about the friendships that will last forever...forever friends...even if it’s a select few.

real friends are better than more friends.

6 years ago I said “I Do”, and it was the best thing I ever did. I just celebrated my wedding anniversary and it was really a blast. No expensive gift this time (hahaha) ....is just the quality time we had that really make a difference. Happy Anniversary to u bie!

Where should i start...

So many things to share... not sure where should i start. Its been 6 years and i'm celebrating my anniversary this weekend. Wow...to me thats really a long time. We definitely had lots of happiness, fun, arguments and so much events need to be documented. I pulled out my honeymoon album last nite....and i'm glad that we are still very much in love with each other...blessed with our 3 children.

Since the honeymoon picture were out and i was feeling lots of love...hahaha...i made a hanging mobile using Nikki's Valentine's Collection - U R My Favourite. It was easy as the colors was sweet and vibrant. I took me just 2 hours to complete the whole thing. I also did few layouts using the same collections too.

Responds from the charity bazaar which i did last weekend was very good. I have few good orders that will fill up my time till next week. Not that i'm complaining but i've been sacrificing my sleep! Huhu...hope i could have some solid hours of sleep next week.

I know that i have shared with all of you that i've been selected as February Guest Designer at The Studio Scrapbook 101. But they have changed their mind...i'm soo excited i got this news from Amanda that they have chosen me to be main DT member for next 6 months. This is really exciting...what a place to share my ideas with bunch of creative people. New Layout & New DT

My New Year starts with so many things on my plate. I was invited to be part of charity bazaar at a very last minute and i had to create scrapbook stuff to sell. The sale was good...and i must thanked my friend...Ms Chow Chow and kids....u all are awesome! Thank you so much for helping me the whole of the first day.

Ok thats the good thing....he worst thing is i forgot to blog about my new DT ship...i was given an opportunity to be part of this community...Scrap It Lah. I'm excited because this blog is the first Malaysia Non Profit Challenge Blog. They have super cool challenge and please do drop by and participate. For this month ....the challenge was created by one of the DT Jessy Christopher.

I twisted the Sketch this time and here is my LO...

Well...Valentine is coming soon and i decided to make a layout of me and hubby. While i was doing it i realise how much i don't scrap our picture. I only scrap the kids...hmmm...that has to change!Hahaha... I make a point to use White cardstock and it blends really well with Nikki Sivils U R My Favourite Collection! Its been a while since i used glimmer mist and i love how it turns out this time. I use scattered buttons as my mask and i just spray 2 colors! Try them...is fun!

Till then...i must find time to edit the bazaar pics. Will upload once i have them edited.

I'm very happy and honored plus grateful i was again offered 2 more Guest DT position for the month January & February respectively. This is really exciting as the site that i was offered was a really interesting site and i cant wait to get things started.

Firstly i will be at Bad Girls Project 52 as their January Guest Designers, Challenge #8 January 18th!. I was chosen based on altered art submission....this is their criteria...fun right?

1) Arches (single/ multiple/ connected, paper/fabric/wooden,etc)

2) Theme - Sea (ocean, beach, sea life/ real/ fantasy/ symbolic, waves, shells, etc..)

3) Required material - Pearls (any type/ shape, used in any way)

A new start...Scrapbook Challenges Blog Hop

This is really an amazing start for me. I was chosen to be the guest DT for Scrapbook Challenges for the month of February. Everything happens for a reasons and i'm blessed with so many good things this year...such as

I'm a mother of 3 now
Still happily married
Some of my scrapwork got publised
Secured some DT positions
Still being able to buy scrapbook stuff....haha...courtesy of my hubby

One main thing that i would like to achieved for next year is to really loose weight! Haha...i still have my baby belly and non of my clothes fits me! As for my slimming center said today, they have set a target that i have to loose 4.8kg! Hmm...how on earth can i do that???

Anyway, i hope everything is well for you as well and last but not least Happy New Year and may god bless you they way He bless me!

December 16 Challenge @ The Studio Scrapbook 101

I decided to give this Challenge a shot...since that i have my kids pictures with Santa Claus and i do not have to use Christmas Paper...i find this rather interesting. We are all very used to using Christmas Paper for Christmas photo...this challenge will definitely give you a twist. You can check out some inspiration from their DTs here. The requirement to this challenge is:

It wouldn’t be right without a little bit of Christmas spirit (just a little bit!), so make a Christmas layout without using Christmas themed papers or embellishments
Use only 1 photo
You can not use alphabet stickers. (You may stamp, hand cut, etc.)

They have blog, forum, classroom, etc. They are quite active and they do have very fascinating and popular scrapper to host tutorial or even challenges. I decided to join their 1 December Challenge hosted by well known scrapper Ingvild Bolme. What is she asking for is ...

I'm glad that i finished all the Christmas line papers sent by Nikki to me. This is my last creations and yeay i finally have some Christmas pictures. This was taken at Buzzy Bee Christmas Party. This is Qawiem previous school and it was nice of his old teacher to invite him and some of his friends.

Also i found a cute door sign.....and it has Princess word on it...i just have to have them. I sand it and apply few layers of mod podge together with paint and glitter ....it turns out great with the Nikki Sivils Valentines Collection - U R My Favourite. I also added an extra Styrofoam so that i can decorate more and added Tihany's picture. This is how it looks like...

Little Genius

The love of my life, Zharif is the middle child of our family. As mom, I have often poo pooed the idea of the very existance of "middle child syndrome". However since Tihany was born, he seems to be showing lots of tantrums but thankfully he has slow down now. I was having a chat with his school teacher the other day and she was mentioning how Zharif would always wants to be notice. He wants attention!

As much as i tried to be fair to my 3 kids sometimes i slip away. Maybe i was giving too much to Qawiem and he noticed. I might be feeding Tihany and he wants me to read to him. The rejection on his face.... the looks...ohhh ..it really breaks my heart. How on earth do i give out fairly? Maybe somebody might have a solution to this....coz sometimes i'm clueless!

This photos of Zharif was taken at Christmas party last week at his school. He's constantly wants to do everything to just impress me....Like showing me how he can join together the puzzle.He was holding my hands all the time. Oh Zharif...even you didn't impress me...mama will always be proud of you. I love you so dearly!

Tihany First Mini Album & A Layout

I actually finished this album maybe about a month ago and just realised that i forgot to blog about it. I try to run away from the usual pink color for baby girl instead i used green and brown. But i felt the album wasn't complete as the pictures i took for Tihany was a bit blur and it doesn't turned out great. That is because i've stop taking pictures and somehow i think i have lost my touch. That is something i should improve for the coming new year. Wow, new year is approaching very soon and so much has happen this year. I'm sure it works the same for all of you. We might achieved what we wanted to but maybe we don't like me!! LOL. Lets see what this new year will bring ... whether i can finish what i intend to.

I finished another layout of Tihany ....i love how she looks like in her hat. At first i thought i should use this for a sketch challenge but last minute i change my mind. I bought lots of new pattern paper and i just go crazy ...don't know which want to choose. So typical of me...fickle!

Well that is about it for today.

Scrap It Lah's December Challenge is kinda fun to play with. Their DT Yati has come out with a combo of 3 ideas to be composed into a layout. Her main ideas was:

You are to make a layout or any project incorporating:

1) Something Green and

2) Using Black and White Photo(s) which means single or multiple photos

3) To include a quote in the layout or other projects.

Here i'm sharing my take for the challenge. I've used the Kaiser - Mumma Bushka Paper. It was Kaiser previous collection which i've been keeping it for quite a while. Now with Tihany around, i have a reason to use it. I love this picture of her...she's now in her smiling mood...and she smiles all the time. When i breastfeed her, she will stop in between feeding and just look at me with a smile. She's sooo adorable!

First Ever Siblings Picture and 2 Other Projects

It was never easy to snap picture of my 3 kids. Its always hard to find the right moments. Finally 2 days ago...the mood was right and the boys don't mind standing next to their sister. As fast as i can, i just grab my camera and voila ..the first ever sibling picture for mama to scrap! I decided to make it as cheerful and fresh layout. I like the way it turn out to be...i must say something different from me.

As for DT work...i'm still busy creating for Nikki Sivils and Scrap The Boys. We are all busy creating projects for upcoming Christmas seasons. I just love Christmas even though i don't celebrate them.

Things has been tough for Tihany lately. She has been diagnosed with pneumonia and we have been in the hospital for about 4 days. She is recovering now and back safe in her comfort home. That's a relieved to me. Seeing her in pain was not easy. But is all over and now all i can see is her lovely smile and waiting for her 3 months old birthday....which is 4 more days to go. So far i can see lots of movement and activity from her. It's so lovely to just sit and watch her. Lets see her milestone...

Christmas 3D Display

For someone who doesn't celebrate Chritmas, i'm actually enjoying creating crafts for this festive season. The christmas papers are so beautiful and i really find myself falling for the papers even i have no matching pictures! When i got my DT kit from Nikki Sivils...i was so excited to see the colors and designs. Like i mentioned before the papers are so bright and lovely. Today i was having fun creating a 3D display by mixing Nikki's North Pole Nights Collection and some collections from Little Yellow Bicycle and also Mistletoe from Making Memories.

I was up since 5am and been scrapping all morning. Call me crazy but i was out from my scrapbooking world for the past 10 days since the kids got sick. But now they are better and i just can't wait to get started. A little bird told me that MME is having a great challenge over at their blog. It is based on a sketch and participants are required to used at least 80% of their products. My latest purchase was few papers from MME so i thought i just give it a shot. This is my take.

Since my kids got sick i spend most of time at my mom's house. I had a chance to look thru some old stuff and i found a picture of me and brother. I think i was about 3-4 years old. I must say that he has been a good brother. I always get whatever i want since i was little and there is no slight jealous in him. He will always give ways and sacrifice so much for me. I know i never say this....i do love u k...hehehe. I decided to use the Scarlet Lime Kit - October Collection. The colors are just awesome and i really fell in love with the kit!

How To Define Beauty?

My angel is now 2 months old and she looks beautiful every single day! That is so hard to believe. She is just an amazing baby! Her world is now full of smiles, holding up her head, and started drooling a little bit. She's now weighing 5.1kg ... good signs that she is growing well. She sleeps well at night and only wakes up for about 2 times. Her smiles really melt my heart. She has a big smile especially after leaving her for few hours with my mom or maid....the moment she sees me....that smile will just make my day. She makes lot of noises and coos. She can lift her head a little and chest up while lying in her stomach. The best thing is when she looks at you as if she knows what’s going on. My tiny little baby is now paying more attention to this world.

I received an email saying that is ok to use the latest Christmas collection from Nikki Sivils. The problem is i do not celebrate them and i don't have any related pictures at all. Something came up to my mind and i twist it a little bit and holla....this is what came out from me...

The papers are really different from the usual Christmas papers i see. Colors are very bright....and are sooo cute. I fall in love with the little elf!

I also did anothert layout of Zharif. Its been a while since i did techniques layout. I love the this color combo...the teal and brown...it looks really nice when you put everything together. It blends really well.

A Little Late

I finally got a bit of time to clear all the spidwer webs around my blog. Hehe...ya ya ya its been a while. Is harder to find time to scrap nowadays. I'm always with the kids...busy running around the house. Tihany is still very colicky and the older brothers are always dying for attention. By the time the kids are in bed, my eyes are eyeing on my bed too. I was supposed to blog about the new challenge at Scrap the Boys , didn't have the chance to do it at all. I'm so sorry for the delay. It is based on the sketch below and its really up to you how you wanna interpret them. (colours, sketch, circles, surf inspired...whatever).

Here is my interpretation... a picture of me and my Mr Noodle.

Last week i found some old photos me and my closest friend in school back in 1990. I can't wait to scrap them but just managed to only scrap 1 layout. I am still in contact with some of them ...thanks to Facebook...but i'm still looking for the rest. Wonder what happen to them...how many kids they have....

This one is the LO i did for my DT work at Nikki Sivils. I actually used the Halloween line and mixed it with other pattern papers such as Sarafrass Lass and Crate Paper. I used the picture from last year Raya celebration ....and it is the best capture of this two inseparable people....Qawiem and his dad. Actually you can mixed whatever papers you have even though it is Halloween or Christmas. You can manipulate the papers and design it to your needs. Even if you don't celebrate them, if the papers are nice...grab it!
I did this LO this morning.... i was having my quiet time here in my scrapping room...the boys are at school and Tihany is with my mom. It is so difficult to snap picture of Zharif lately but i was so happy that i could snap picture of both of them last week. Even though Zharif was half naked..hehehe....its good enough. Told myself...i soooo need to scrap this.

Can you believe it that is already Friday? Time flies so fast and we are now in the month of October. I'm actually excited when October comes. One of my layout has been featured in Scrapbook.com and Scrapjazz.com. I must thank Georgina Hoffman for this opportunity. This is the layout that has been featured. I've used the pictures of my superstar - Qawiem. Hehe...this is his concert pictures when he was at his old school....taken last year. I've used the Henry Brilliance line from Nikki Sivils. I still couldn't stop using those line....not just i am the DT but the papers are just versatile....it is so easy to match with any pictures.

You know...at first i was really afraid to use any Halloween line ....since i don't celebrate them. But after creating a few projects, i just love Halloween. I find myself looking for Halloween stuff and putting it into my wishlist.The colors combo, images, wordings are just a killer.

You should check out the new line called...Bootiful by Nikki Sivils ....really really great to play with. I love the cut ups and the papers are just oh so irresistible. This time I've created altered fun treat tin and cards.

How different is my life now?

We just celebrated Hari Raya last week and its so excited to see my kids enjoyed the moments. It wasn't a big celebration for my family this time as i was still on confinement but we make sure the "must-have" things are there....like new clothes for kids, traditional food....ketupat, rendang was on the table. I think my elder son started to feel the Raya spirit like receiving "duit raya" to the extend that he thinks with that money he can buy his toys! He said: See mama...i have sooo much money and coins! I think is enough for me to buy my toys! Hehe...

As for Zharif, I don't think he really understands what really happens but what he definitely does knows that the raya packets has money inside! He will open the packets , take then money and throw the empty packets. Hehe....Kids nowadays are much smarter than us.

Lately is kinda hard to find time to scrap. My hands are definitely full with the kids. By the time the kids are sleeping, i'm just too tired and my eyes are only aiming the bed! I have yet to train Tihany for her feeding schedule...basically i just feed her as when she wants it. It is just this few days, she's having colic problem.... she wants feeding almost every hour. I'm totally drained out. I hope this doesn't last long.

I'm glad that i manage to finished my DT work for this month. And few days back, i managed to scrap 1 page for Nikki's Gallery. I'm so tempted to accept some other DT work but i'm a little concern about my time management. I guessed i will just settle for whatever i have now and see how it goes with the kids. Ohh...Tihany just celebrated her 1st month birthday and she gained 1kg already. Hehe....she is starting to look chubby.

I'm off to bed now...even though i thought i should scrap at least 1 page but is almost midnite...i need to feed Tihany at 3am. I better catch up on my sleep. I'm sharing my latest LO and pictures from Raya Holidays.

I just love the new lines from Nikki Sivils. I know that i'm supposed to take a break at this moment...but when i saw all the lovely creations from my DT buddies at Nikki Sivils....i go crazy! Hehe...the papers are just awesome. I love the color combo. It was not east to start scrapping again after a long break. I took 2 hours to just get the idea out! LOL. Also i think partly in Malaysia we don't really celebrate Halloween and i don't have the right pictures to match the paper. At last i could find something! I hope you like them.....aren't they cute to spook????

September Challenge @ Scrap The Boys

It must also include the page a list of everyone who attended and description of the party (theme, cake, games etc.). These are the memories we tend to forget so it is time to document them before it is too late.

Finally my girl was born on 27 Aug 2009 at 2.55pm thru C Section. The procedure didn't take that long but like most people say the recovery might take longer time. Yes it's true..I forced myself to get up from bed like the next day....wasn't easy but i just have to do it. If i were to compare between normal and C-sec........normal delivery is much easier to handle and healing is so much faster. I'm doing ok now....so does my girl.....she's sleeping most of the time. She has slight jaundice but it's just matter of time till its dissappear. I really can't wait to start scrapping. I'm totally excited about scrapping about girls....all pink pink...sweet!

In Between Contractions

Waiting for "The Day" is not easy at all. I've been having contractions every now and then ....but the pain wasn't strong enough to get me going to the hospital. But last Friday i was having severe contractions for almost 1.5 hours but i still waited at home! Hehe...is not that i'm not panic...but true enough it is still a false alarm.

At this moment my baby is still in breech position and unlikely will turn. I have booked a date for my C-Sec and i should be in operating theatre at 2pm next Thursday. Phew...few more days to go and i'm very excited! Should i be scared? Hmm...err...maybe a little.

Even with the contractions, i decided to still scrap in between....not easy...coz i get very tired and irritated when i don't have the idea. I've been wanting to play with Basic Grey June Bug Collection. And yeay.....i finally finished it...and thot of sharing with you.

Is Getting Closer...

I've decided to slow down a bit and just take it easy while waiting for my due date. Am i nervous? Err...maybe not...just a little tired and i felt really uncomfortable at this stage. I'm trying to finish all my DT assignments and let me tell you it is soooo hard to concentrate for more than 10 minutes. @ Nikki Sivils now...we are having our little DT Card Challenge among each other...and i must say this is an achievement for me to finish 4 cards within 1 day. I will post it here when we have the green light to do so. I also created 2 mini projects for Teacher's Day.....couldn't resist not to use the Henry Brilliance Collection. The owls are too awesome! Loving my Slice too....they are great for many projects.

Remembering Your Mom...

I think one of other ways to preserve our mothers memories is by keeping her recipes....I'm sure all of you like me...we all are the biggest fan of our mother's cooking...why not we try to keep them in safe place ...and you know you can access them whenever you want. I remember when i was in my early 20s...i never bother with all this things. Now that i'm into scrapbooking...i realise how precious is this memories that i should keep for my kids and hopefully my grandchild. So i made this flip kinda album where i can keep adding the recipes whenever i like. I used Nikki Sivil's line...My Sweet Cherry Pie Collection. I hope you will be inspired to do the same....
Here is my latest layout using the Henry Brilliance's Line...awesome designs to scrap all your kids picture relating to schools, homework,etc. I've used Qawiem's picture when he first started school and with the first bag we bought for him...Look at him...he woke up soooo early as early at 630am even though the school starts 830am.Hehe...how cute is that!

Here's is my take for this challenge....a picture of Zharif where the food is all over his mouth. He was about a year plus....he's a boy who will not refuse any kind of food. He just love em'. I use the latest Crate Paper from Little Sprout Collection. The papers are so cute for kids with lovely color combination....i just couldn't help it to buy them from my own shop! Hehe...

I finally wrapped up my scrapping marathon last nite and very very happy with the outcome. I was given the opportunity to scrap a celebrity pictures! It felt really good when i handed over to her todat ...the complete album of 12 x 12 layouts with the total of 18 pages. I guess it felt good after all the hard work and at the end she like it...that is what matters.

Tired but Excited

I'm back being a silent mode lately...i've been on a tight deadlines.....everything needs to be cleared before my due date. My pregnancy has been like a roller coaster...sometimes i have full tank of energy but sometimes i'm just drained out. Last 3 days i was having really bad diarrhea and it slows down everything....thank god i'm ok now but a little nervous waiting for my 1130 appointment today with the gynae. I hope my baby has turn the head down ....because as of last 2 weeks it was still in breech position. Pray for me...wawawa

“Real Men (or Boys) don’t…”

Whether you have heard the saying or not I would like you to take inspiration from the saying “real men don’t eat quiche” for this months layout.

Basically I would like you to create a layout capturing your boys doing things that may be the most masculine…so a little bit on the "girly" side...you know maybe it is a secret thing for pink, them in some girly dress-ups, makeup, flowers in there hair… we all have those photos that you think “hmmm that will be a good one for their 21st birthday party…lol”

Anyway now is the time to drag them out and put them on paper…If you don’t have any photos maybe you could journal about it instead…document it before it is forgotten.

Criteria is to start your title with “real men (or boys) don’t….” (mind pink; look bad in heels…etc)

I was actually inspired by this old movie, Mrs Brown...is a story about Queen Victoria, the world's most powerful woman and John Brown, a simple Scottish Highlander. Their extraordinary friendship transformed an empire. It was a 1997 movie.

I'm very happy that i've managed to come out from my comfort zone...i've no longer in my usual colors or patterm paper. Playing with this new line has expand my imagination. The line is called Victoria Street from Nikki Sivils...i just fall in love with the prints of the houses and colors...I was little afraid at first...not sure what will come out....but after a while - it is so easy to match with pictures that i have. I hope you like it too...

Giveaway Project

I find My Sweet Cherry Pie Line from Nikki Sivils is so fun to play with. The bright colors excites me and make me wanna create more projects. I decided that a packaging concept is more suitable for this kind of paper and here it is .... a small paper bag which are meant for cutie things. The bag will not be complete without the card....so i came out with a 6" x 6" Best Wishes Card to complement the packaging and voila...it is ready to be given away...hmm...i wonder who?

I finally lay my hands on Nikki Sivils product and i must thank her for this DT opportunity and super duper nice DT kit for me to play around. It took me a while to decide what to do first as i was too excited. I started mine with My Sweet Cherry Pie Collection and to be honest i never actually play with bright colors paper. Actually it was kinda fun and Nikki's collection are easy to work with...the papers are high quality too. I hope you enjoy my layout!

I received a great news that 3 of my layouts will be published for the latest edition of Scrapbook News and Review. I'm totally excited and this is really good to build up my scrapbooking resume. I woke up like 4am this morning and trying to figure out the concept for my latest mini album order. I'm having difficulties in sleeping...i guess this is just norm as the baby is getting bigger. I was so in the mood to alter a styrofoam and turn it into a sweet castle for little princess. It is suitable as gift packaging for newborn babies. Little Chaos

So many things i wanna do but i ended doing probably 10% what i'm supposed to do. I was having some domestic issues at home and it just spoils my mood and mojo. I've only managed to scrap 1 layout... my challenge buddy has challenged me in few sketches. Sorrie babe...only managed to complete 1! This sketches is done by Mojoholder Sketches. This is my take...i decided to scrap this pictures about Qawiem...he's always been scared of clown since he was very little. Despite that he has been to soooo many birthdays, that could not take the fear away. But this time, he make a slight move to be close to the clown. I'm so proud of him!

And good news to share again! Hahaha...

I'm heading home to KL today and few things on my mind already. I can't wait to start scrapping....my hands were very itchy throughout my stay here. I miss my papers and embellishment. Haha....

Nevertheless, even this was short but it is a good trip for me and kids. I enjoyed my time with my relatives and my kids was having so much fun too.

The trip to Roadwalk (some sorts like second hand antiques stuff) was a bit dissapointed. I was looking for something that i could alter but nothing seems to catch my eyes.
